Pelion Siki Project - Overview
This development project is in the picturesque village of Siki in Pelion, a uniquely beautiful region, situated in the prefecture of Magnesia in Central Greece. Pelion, among the most mesmerizing regions in Greece, is a place of extreme beauty and stunning scenery with a diverse landscape that uniquely combines sandy and pebble beaches with crystal clear water and bright green and snow capped mountains. Maintaining the local traditional architecture there are more than 70 marvelous villages throughout the Pelion area. The project location is situated in Siki, a traditional mountain village at an altitude of 290m with a spectacular view of the Aegean Sea.
| GETTING THERE
The project location is 38km from the city of Volos the capital of the prefecture of Magnesia. Apart from the option of renting a car, a scheduled bus service (KTEL) connects Volos with every village in Pelion. When traveling from abroad there are four possible destination airports.

1. ATHENS INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (www.aia.gr)
As this is the biggest airport in Greece, there are direct flights from almost every country to Athens. Volos is located 310km from Athens. One option for traveling to Volos is renting a car and following the E-75 Motorway northbound that connects Athens with Salonica. The 'Attiki Odos' ring road connects the Athens Airport with the E-75 Motorway. There is also a frequent bus service (from the Liossion Bus Station in Athens) connecting Athens with Volos. Finally, there is a scheduled train service from Athens to Volos.
2. THESSALONIKI AIRPORT
There are scheduled flights from the UK, France, Germany, Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, Cairo, Copenhagen, Prague, Dubai, Holland, Lebanon, Monaco, Moscow, New York, Spain, Switzerland, Israel, Toronto, Johannesburg and Singapore to Thessaloniki. Volos is located 211km from Thessaloniki. One option for traveling to Volos is renting a car and following the E-75 Motorway southbound that connects Thessaloniki with Athens. There is also a frequent bus and train service connecting Thessaloniki with Volos.
3. VOLOS AIRPORT
This is the closest airport to Volos as it is located 27km from the city next to the E-75 highway. It is based in the Nea Anhialos Military Base. There are no scheduled flights available at present, however between May and October there are charter flights from the UK, France, Holland, Belgium and the Czech Republic. From there renting a car or booking a taxi are the available options. |

4. SKIATHOS AIRPORT
The island of Skiathos in the Aegean close to the Pelion peninsula is a popular summer destination. Between May and October there are charter flights from the UK, Germany, Holland, Italy, Switzerland, Scandinavia and Slovakia. A hydrofoil or ferry service operates connecting Skiathos to the city of Volos. |
